Editorial Guidelines
Read this information carefully and make sure your submissions fit with the guidelines.
Format for Submissions
Articles should be submitted as a Word document. If you do not have Word, submit articles
in a plain text document.
If your document requires special formatting (for example, text in color other than black
or the inclusion of images), please explain in a brief note at the top of the document. An
editor will contact you if they need further clarification.
Copyright and Author Responsibilities
Seattle Writergrrls will have full rights for editing and rewriting of articles and/or
submissions as necessary. Seattle Writergrrls reserves the right to not display or post
any submissions we deem inappropriate or unacceptable. No age, gender, race, or geographical
limitations of any sort will be imposed. To be eligible, submissions must come from members
of Seattle Writergrrls.
By submitting material to Seattle Writergrrls, authors agree that Seattle Writergrrls can
display, modify, transmit, distribute, or delete your content without needing prior or further
consent from you. Submissions may be removed at any time by the sole discretion of Seattle
Writergrrls. Authors who submit their works, material, artwork, graphics, ideas, or content to
us retain their copyrights and grant Seattle Writergrrls limited permission to publish said works
on the Web, revocable at any time by either party. Authors also certify that this material is
their own original material and does not violate any copyrights. All eligible submissions will
be considered.

assure accuracy and appropriateness. If reciprocal links will be included, please advise the
Group Editors. Promotion of your work published in the Zine is encouraged.
