Purgatory
by Heidi Bunten
Pull the cobwebs from my hair
My skin is hot
But my insides are cold
You can try knocking
But I won’t answer the door
There’s not use screaming
Because I won’t hear you
Paint your lies on my wall
I can’t feel anyway
My eyes have glazed over
And I don’t care to move
You just left yesterday
But I’ve been gone for eternity
My name is Heidi. I don't really consider myself a poet, cause that would make me sound like I think I'm some Edgar Allen Poe. So I'll just say I love to write, and I especially love poetry.
